Sumo Wrestler Sacked regular/Irregular Verbs (click here)


Regular verbs ~ add '-ed' to the base form of the verb for the past simple and past participle forms. For example, play -> played, start -> started'. When you pronounce a regular verb the 'e' is silent except when a verb ends in 't'.

Irregular verbs ~ verbs whose past and past participle tense forms do not follow the standard rules of add –d or -ed to the end but instead have special forms or spellings.
